Love Poem For Her

In this love poem for her (or him, or they—it's not gender specific), one realizes that through the love of their partner they have begun to like themselves more, perhaps even become the person they always wished to be.

That's one of the great qualities of love. It has a nurturing effect on us, allowing us to grow along with it.

A Love Poem For Her

Driftwood

Driftwood
Washed by the sea
Kissed by the sun
Something old
Becoming something new
Branching out
Rough edges smoothed
I drifted until I met you
Because of you
I have branched out
And become something new
