Steadfastness and devotion set the tone in this poem about true love. But what exactly does "true love" mean?
I suppose it's the opposite of love that is false or wavering. Love that does not stand the test of time. Love that crumbles into pieces while traveling over life's bumpy road. It never solidifies, but eventually exhausts itself and burns out.

Quite the opposite of this poem.
I will be your anchor
A lighthouse in the dark if you lose your way
A port in the storm when seas are rough
A safe refuge, a sheltered bay
Many storms we will weather
And as long as I have you by my side
We'll face life's ups and downs together
Just like the rise and fall of the tide
