These Rings Are A Symbol


These rings are a symbol
Of our destiny together
As precious as the metals from which they are formed
Continuous, unbroken, without end


These vows are our thoughts formed into words
Yet many remain wordless, that which is unspoken
A look, a touch, a smile
Something only the heart renders


This setting a vast expanse of sea
To look out and see forever
Without end
That is what I see when I look at us
