This beach memories wedding poem is perfect for those whose nuptials take place by the sea.

From childhood memories of nostalgic days spent at the ocean entwined with finding your true mate, this poem gives rise to those romantic feelings shared by lovers of the sea and each other.

A Wedding Day Poem

Early In Life We Visited Here

Early in life we visited here
With pails and shovels and blowup rafts
Beach balls, flip-flops and frisbees
Faces pinched into snorkels and masks

The beach was our adventure
With a sea as big as the world was wide
We played and ran and swam
Flew kites and raced the tide

As teens we gathered with our friends
Sharing secrets and suntan lotion
Girls watching boys play volleyball
Boys eyeing bikinis in motion

Then something rolled in like a crashing surf
And we only saw each other
We'd walk the beach in our own little world
A spell of love we were under

Today we're here with all of those memories
Standing before our family and friends
Sealing a promise of love to each other
For the sea has captured our hearts once again
