Anchor Love Poem: "I Will Be Your Anchor"

Steadfastness and devotion set the tone in this anchor love poem. Without strong bonds, love can drift away and become lost at sea, like a boat unanchored.

Floating aimlessly, love wavers. It will not withstand the test of time. It will take on water while being tossed about over life's rough seas, eventually sinking. Just one of many shipwrecks along the ocean floor.

I Will Be Your Anchor

I will be your anchor
A lighthouse in the dark if you lose your way
A port in the storm when seas are rough
A safe refuge, a sheltered bay

Many storms we will weather
And as long as I have you by my side
We'll face life's ups and downs together
Just like the rise and fall of the tide
