Trade Winds Love Poem: "Through The Trade Winds Our Love Whispers"

This trade winds love poem evokes the balmy breezes of the tropics—like sharing an idyllic island getaway with your life partner.

The poem came to me very quickly once I recalled the feeling of being in the islands—warm wind, palms fronds rustling, the scent of flowers and coconut sun tan lotion. I didn't want to leave!

A Romantic Love Poem

Through The Trade Winds Our Love Whispers

Through the trade winds our love whispers
Delicately lingering over azure seas
Palm trees sway in rhythmic harmony
As the melody of us drifts on the breeze

Sugar-white sand surrounds us
As we draw two hearts beside the sea
Crystallizing our promises to one another
For a lifetime of love is our destiny
